“I took the SAT as a sophomore and never would have gotten the scores I did, or a 1600 superscore, without Naka and the TestTakers program. They were SO accommodating and answered all my questions, whenever I had any.”

-Rhea R. Herricks High School Student

One of the keys to better instruction is constant improvement. At TestTakers, we regularly have our students evaluate their teachers. This way teachers can better help their students during the course, and improve their instruction for the future. Below are a few of Naka’s comments from student evaluations (teaching SAT Reading, Writing, and Math to students of various score ranges over the years).

“I took the SAT twice, once before Naka and once after. The best teacher ever. Because I had limited time, he dedicated extra time to me and the results were outstanding. Improved over 200 points from my first diagnostic test and got a 1600 on the real thing!”

“Great person and human being. A pleasure to be in his class and be taught by him. He knows more than just math, he is an expert on life as well.”

“Literally my favorite math teacher ever please don’t ever stop telling stories. Thank you for all of the extra help and effort.”

“Best English teacher I’ve ever had. I was always so terribly bad at grammar until my first 2 hours with Naka. He made everything so straight forward. He’s like a God. He’s also very funny and a genuinely great person.”

“His stories might be the highlight of class, but they really help to drill the information in. Overall, he is a epic dude that knows his s#!t.”

“I think that test takers handled remote learning very well. Having all the questions and diags on the screen made it easy to follow along with the teacher and understand questions. Remote learning in school doesn't feel as effective as it is with Test Takers because there is less structure and individual attention.”

“TestTakers is a good institute. Teachers are really kind and loving. They teach from the bottom of their hearts. They make complicated questions easy.”

“Honestly, I’m pretty surprised that my score actually improved! I felt like I was plateauing lately, but TestTakers actually helped me improve 150 points! Maybe it’s magic haha.”

“TestTakers is a great program for SAT prep. My score has improved drastically and I am happy that I signed up for the classes instead of studying on my own. You get a lot more out of it from the teachers at TestTakers who do all they can to help you.”

“He’s family! He’s been my spotlight session teacher once or twice and he’s really knowledgable about just everything.”

“I'm so happy that I decided to sign up for this course. One of my friends recommended it to me, telling me how much it helped raise his score. I've already began to see many improvements in my scores, especially in areas that I was previously very poor at.”

“I took a course similar to TestTakers, and to be honest, it was trash. TestTakers does a better job of teaching and supporting the material.”

“VERY HELPFUL. Helped schedule test-dates and helped explain the test in better depth. Willing to work with you to accommodate. Grateful for that.”
